A proposed tax relief bill has been approved by the US Senate. This bill proposes to increase the maximum available Title 5 septic tax credit from $6,000 to $18,000 and increase in the amount claimable per year from $1,500 to $4,000.  The Legislature will now appoint a Conference Committee to reconcile the differences between the Senate and House of Representative's versions of the bill.
